CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS: CALL FOR INDOOR MURAL PROPOSALS

On behalf of YWCA of Central Massachusetts’s Commemorative Committee, Public Art Administrator & Founder of Art in the Park, Worcester Gloria D. Hall is calling for artists to submit images/ proposals for an indoor wall mural on the 9’ x 30’ Board Room wall at the Salem Street Branch of the YWCA, Worcester, MA. The mural is to be a tribute to the outgoing executive director, Linda Cavioli’s, racial justice and gender equality legacy. Under her leadership, from the boardroom to the front lines, racial justice became the hallmark of YWCA of Central Massachusetts operations. The proposal selected will be one that best reflects the essence of her legacy.

ELIGIBILITY: Artists from New England or New York area, with minimum 3 -5 years experience, 18 years and older that paint large-scale walls. All applications will be accepted. Women, Black artists (AA, Afro-Latina) of the African Diaspora, and other artists of color are encouraged to apply.
